A1101/2/3/4/6 Hall Effect Sensor Switch, Allegro Microsystems

The Allegro A1101/2/3/4 and A1106 Hall-effect switches are produced with BiCMOS technology enabling fast power-on time and low-noise operation. Device programming is performed after packaging, to ensure increased switch-point accuracy by eliminating offsets that could be induced by package stress.

Unique Hall element geometries and low offset amplifiers minimise noise and to reduce the residual offset voltage normally caused by device over-molding and thermal stress.

The Allegro A1101/2/3/4 and A1106 a voltage regulator, Hall voltage generator, small-signal amplifier, Schmitt trigger, and NMOS output transistor.

The integrated voltage regulator permits operation from 3.8 V to 24 V and on-board protection circuitry provides a ±30 V absolute maximum voltage rating. All devices in the family are identical except for magnetic switchpoint levels.

Continuous-time operation with fast power-on time and low noise
